Policing Just Outcomes in Sexual Assault Project : The main goals of the project are: – To improve our understanding of the incidence, nature and dynamics of sexual assault in Victoria, police responses to it, and the outcomes these responses generate. – To identify and understand the factors and dilemmas that influence the decisions made by adult victims of sexual assault on whether or not to report the offence/s to police. – To inform and improve Victoria Police responses to victim/survivors of sexual assault and the ways that Victoria Police manage the reporting of sexual assault – To identify and develop ways for the criminal justice system to better respond to and manage reports of sexual assault

Alberta Association of Sexual Assault Centers (AASAC): AASAC) represents ten sexual assault centres across Alberta. AASAC is an effective provincial organization that represents issues critical to the clients they serve.
BC Association of Specialized Victim Service and counselling Programs: The Association provides a provincial voice for survivors of violence and the community-based services that support them. They maintain a strong network between Community-Based Victim Assistance programs, Sexual Assault Centres and Stopping the Violence counselling programs across BC. They have also established important links with government, policy makers, legislators and other provincial organizations.
Canadian Association of Sexual Assault Centres: CASAC is a Pan Canadian group of sexual assault centres which have come together to implement the legal, social and attitudinal changes necessary to prevent, and ultimately eradicate, rape and sexual assault. Centre for Research on Violence: Funded by the Canadian government, this organization seeks to prevent domestic violence and sexual abuse. They are involved in a number of areas, including intervention strategies, civil and criminal remedies, education, training initiatives and prevention. The Centre is starting a research project to learn more about the experiences people have had with the civil court system, when they brought a law suit against someone who sexually assaulted or sexually abused them. They are trying to reach every person in CANADA who has received a judgment in a civil case about a sexual abuse or sexual assault in the past ten years.

The Freud Museum, at 20 Maresfield Gardens in Hampstead, was the home of Sigmund Freud and his family when they escaped Nazi annexation of Austria in 1938. It remained the family home until Anna Freud, the youngest daughter, died in 1982. The centrepiece of the museum is Freud’s library and study, preserved just as it was during his lifetime.
